Team development journey

What does this programme hold for you and your team – and what can you expect?

With this programme, you and your team go on a 9 to 12 months team development journey together to become a strengths-based high-performing team.

 

How will we collaborate?

During a bilateral preliminary talk, you as the team leader will with my support determine your current team situation, your objectives and evaluate the status quo.

Afterwards, each team member including yourself completes the Clifton Strengths 34 talent assessment and self-studies the main 34-report. 
Thereafter, each team member benefits from an individual online coaching session with me to discover their talents and understand them well.

We will also measure your teams’ current engagement status using a short, 5min online evaluation, the so-called Gallup Q12.

 

And now it is time to start the team workshops!
Here as well we will during the first workshop measure your team’s point of departure so that you can follow your progress.


During our collaboration, you and your team will in between the workshops receive short exercises taking between 5 and 30min to help you anchor a strengths-based approach within your daily work. This offers an opportunity to your collaborators to continually invest into their personal growth and development.
For this reason, it makes sense to spread this team development over several months instead of holding all workshops in a block.

Before and after each workshop and whenever needed, you as the team’s leader and I will have short alignment sessions in order to respond to changes in your team’s situation and to your needs as their leader.
Your leadership role is of great importance to succeed in developing your team

 

At the end of our collaboration, we will again transparently measure what we have achieved. That way, you and your team are aware of your progress and your next focus points.

 

What will change within the team over the course of our collaboration?

Over the course of this team development, your team members will discovery their own talents and those of their colleagues. They learn how to aim their talents productively and consciously – and hence grow natural talents into real strengths.

 

We acquire how the team members can mutually support each other and give strengths-based feedback and recognition based on a common strengths language.
The team’s identity and contribution to the overall organisation will be clarified. The team internalises how they can gather and align in a strengths-based way to succeed in upcoming challenges.

What happens after our collaboration?

After the journey, it is up to you and your team to continue to use and implement your learnings into your daily work.

 

If desired, I gladly continue to accompany you selectively or during new challenges to support you in anchoring a strengths-based approach.

 

Framework

This workshop is best held with teams between 3 and 15 people. However, shall your team comprise more people, we will find a solution together. The programme can take place virtually or in person. Yet I recommend that the team meets at least 1–3 times for a workshop in person over the course of our collaboration.
Each person receives a training certificate.
